CHRIS PERKEL
Chris Perkel is a distinguished filmmaker and creative director renowned for his impactful contributions to the documentary genre. Born and raised in the Bronx, he pursued his passion for storytelling by earning a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from the USC School of Cinema-Television.
Perkel gained significant acclaim for directing and editing "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives," which premiered as the opening night film at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and received the Critics' Choice and Hollywood Music in Media Awards for Best Music Documentary.
His diverse portfolio includes directing "Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert" (YouTube Originals), "Foreman" (EPIX), the five-part miniseries "Phenoms" (FOX), and "In the Valley of Sin" (FOX). In addition to his directorial work, Perkel edited "Pearl Jam 20" for Cameron Crowe and currently serves as the creative director for the Coachella and Stagecoach festival livestreams, further showcasing his versatility in the industry.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Chris Perkel continues to influence the film and music industries with his innovative storytelling and creative vision.
